      This article discusses various aspects of corporate e-learning. It is said that corporate education is expensive, time-consuming and constantly changing. Some societal metatrends compel companies to embrace e-learning, but ultimately the factors driving e-learning are lower costs, more efficient training, responsiveness to rapid change and learning management. In addition, e-learning shares many similarities with workflow training or performance support, including a modular structure and user control of the learning.
